I have two family members who have moved from California to much redder states and they chose where to go with politics in mind, among plenty of other things. I hope they have as much fun in their new places as these people moving to one of the country’s worst shitholes. I’m sort of shocked we haven’t seen more red states puffing their chests up about these migration patterns. We got the whole everyone is moving to Texas thing a couple years ago, but not a whole lot since. Here’s why I think it happens. Because the trends don’t hit the points these red state leaders want them to hit. With mass migration comes bluer voters. It will happen in Idaho, and the one actual city there will be just like all the rest of the cities in the U.S. I can’t wait.
